Bucket List?

What's the difference?
I once vacationed with a good friend that had a bucket list. I personally don't. Maybe I should get around to making one some day. I wonder what I would put in that list? As you might suspect, I enjoy traveling around the world, seeing the culture and history, and finding a good meal of traditional food. But, we need to discuss this bucket.

I am a planner at heart. Once I have a task, I work to complete that task, just ask my wife! Give me a goal of setting up our next European Vacation, and I will have books and notes, videos, and YouTube references galore. I like to make sure I know what is at each destination, and then form some type of list to make sure I see the top 10.

A bucket list would probably drive me nuts. How could I possibly plan out my agenda for every item in my bucket? Running with the bulls, skydiving, transatlantic cruise, experience Antarctica, swim with sharks, or climb a volcano in Fiji, it's mind blowing. I don't see how I could write it down and not have a plan for each!

I prefer to call them dreams. I dream about a place I want to go, the things I want to do there, and who I might meet along the way. I dream of visiting Norway and seeing the rocky coast line. I dream of seeing the Northern Lights in a Yurt with a clear dome at night while my dog sled team waits for me to take them on the next adventure. Destinations, vacations, or just a quick get-away. Call it what you like.
So call it dreams, or make a list and drop it in a bucket. But whatever you call it, don't just let it go. Tomorrow is a gift. Plan today to make your List of Dreams come true!
